Project Management Coordinator

Role overview

Diebold Nixdorf is looking for a Project Management Coordinator to join its Professional Services team in Dubai. In this role, you will help drive the delivery of several customer projects across retail and technology settings, ensuring work moves forward smoothly and on schedule.

The position is highly collaborative and involves working with customers, technical specialists, vendors, and internal stakeholders. It is well suited to someone who enjoys bringing order to complex work, keeping communication clear, and supporting structured project execution and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate several internal and customer-facing projects so planned activities and milestones are completed on time.
• Serve as the main liaison for customers, technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Assist with project planning by monitoring timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and staffing needs.
• Work with customers to collect requirements, capture action points, and ensure follow-up tasks progress.
• Maintain project records, status updates, governance documentation, and approval workflows.
• Set up project meetings, governance reviews, and stakeholder briefings, and document decisions and next steps.
• Track risks, issues, and interdependencies, and escalate matters when necessary.
• Follow up on commitments and ensure agreed actions are completed within the required timeframes.
• Support leadership with reporting, business priorities, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Ensure all work follows internal procedures, governance expectations, and information security standards.

Qualifications and experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience is required.
• Experience working in an Agile project delivery setting is essential.
• You should have a solid understanding of software technologies, databases, and integrated IT solutions.
• Strong organization, communication, and stakeholder management abilities are important.
• You must be able to handle several priorities at once in a fast-moving environment.
• Good professional written and spoken English is required.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience supporting retail projects.
• Customer engagement, account support, or sales-related experience is an added advantage.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in project coordination or project management is desired.
• Arabic language skills are also preferred.
