Role summary

This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager position in Accra. The selected candidate will take ownership of assigned projects from kickoff to completion, making sure scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives are achieved.

What you will do

You will build project plans, organize resources, monitor progress, and keep timelines and budgets on track. The role also includes working with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors, as well as handling expediting tasks and resolving issues that could affect delivery.

In addition, you will prepare progress updates, maintain project records, assist with inspections and quality checks, and ensure work complies with company procedures, client expectations, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications and experience

The role calls for strong leadership in project delivery, including planning, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination. Experience in expediting vendor performance and managing the timely movement of materials and equipment is important, along with familiarity with inspection activities, quality control, and technical standards.

Applicants should also bring logistics coordination experience, such as tracking shipments, arranging deliveries, and managing supporting documentation. A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar field is preferred, though equivalent practical experience may also be considered.

Relevant background in engineering or construction project management, ideally in an on-site setting, is expected. Strong organization, analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and effective communication are essential. Comfort using project management and productivity tools such as MS Project and Excel is also required. A strong commitment to safety, ethical conduct, and continuous improvement is valued.
