Proofreader (Remote)

Role Overview

This is a remote proofreader position focused on helping improve and assess AI language models. The work is flexible, contract-based, and part-time, making it suitable for people who want to work from home on a schedule they choose. The role is especially relevant for professionals with a background in language, such as writing, teaching, translation, tutoring, linguistics, or similar fields.

Compensation and Work Setup

• Pay can go up to $20 USD per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated content and assess it for accuracy, fluency, and overall quality.
• Draft short prompts and original responses to support AI training.
• Compare and rank AI outputs using defined evaluation standards.
• Share written comments on language quality and related issues.

Candidate Profile

• You should be fluent in both your language and English.
• A bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred, ideally in a field related to humanities, language, or writing.
• Applicants should have professional experience in language-focused work such as writing, teaching, translation, editing, annotation, or a similar area.
• Strong detail orientation and the ability to follow guidelines carefully are important.
• Experience in linguistics, academic writing, data annotation, or AI content evaluation is an added advantage.
