About the role
KBR’s National Security Solutions team delivers advanced engineering and technology solutions for intelligence and national security customers. This role plays an important part in supporting mission-critical work that helps protect national security. It is a contingent position and will only proceed if the contract is awarded.
The position is based in Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia, and requires a fully onsite presence.
What you will do
- Create and maintain a property coordinator/custodian structure within the relevant department, function, or program.
- Oversee the administration and physical control of government or customer-owned property.
- Ensure all property procedures and workflows comply with the Government Program Manager’s requirements and the site appendix.
- Draft, coordinate, submit, and implement updates to site property procedures and work instructions.
- Set up and keep accurate control records.
- Work with all impacted departments, groups, and organizations on property management matters.
- Assist with property reviews and audits.
- Serve as the site’s main point of contact for the AGPC organization.
- Apply industry leading practices, voluntary consensus standards, and standardized forms as directed by AGPC.
- Coordinate property accountability activities at the site.
- Manage the administrative and physical custody of government or customer property.
Who you are
You are a highly organized professional with strong attention to detail and the ability to keep assets controlled, documented, and compliant. You are comfortable handling inventory, resolving discrepancies, and working with multiple stakeholders to maintain accurate property records and efficient processes.
Requirements
- Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen or an Australian citizen.
- A current U.S. TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance or an Australian PV clearance is required.
- At least 5 years of experience working as a property coordinator is needed.
- Working knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory obligations is expected.
- Strong planning and organizational ability is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
