Role overview
This position is for a recruiter who will manage the full hiring cycle for direct labour talent. The role supports staffing needs across production, assembly, logistics, and cleanroom functions, and calls for strong coordination with business leaders, experience in large-scale hiring, and familiarity with Singapore employment requirements.
What you will do
- Work closely with hiring managers to clarify workforce needs and role expectations.
- Identify, evaluate, and shortlist candidates for direct labour positions such as material handlers, machine operators, assembly staff, and cleanroom workers.
- Arrange interviews, liaise with HR, and help ensure a smooth and positive candidate journey.
- Build and sustain candidate pipelines through job platforms, networking, and career fairs.
- Monitor recruitment indicators such as time-to-fill and quality of hire, then share progress updates with stakeholders.
- Follow Singapore Employment Act requirements and internal policies throughout the recruitment process.
- Assist with onboarding and transfer relevant information to HR operations.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of recruiting experience, including at least 2 years hiring for direct labour or manufacturing roles.
- Solid understanding of Singapore’s labour market and workforce rules.
Preferred skills and strengths
- Exposure to vocational training institutes and polytechnic talent pipelines is an advantage.
- Comfortable working on high-volume recruitment projects with strict deadlines.
- Well-organised with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with change management and candidate engagement approaches.
Compensation and other details
The budget for this role is up to $4.5k per month. This is a 1-year contract based in North Singapore, with the possibility of renewal.
