Role overview
This position focuses on managing and growing a portfolio of trade and high-value MSME clients, with responsibility for meeting their working-capital and trade-finance needs. The role also covers customer acquisition, portfolio development, revenue growth, and compliance-led transaction support.
Key responsibilities
- Acquire and manage trade customers and high-value MSME accounts that require working capital support.
- Address customer needs related to pre-shipment and post-shipment financing.
- Own the full customer journey, including acquisition, onboarding, portfolio handling, activation, and attrition management.
- Grow trade revenue by expanding wallet share across newly acquired and existing trade relationships.
- Bring in new trade customers as well as high-value liability customers.
- Support customer trade transactions and help ensure smooth straight-through processing.
- Cross-sell treasury products such as forwards and options to trade clients.
- Deliver cash management services to customers.
- Carry out due diligence on customers and transactions to meet AML and regulatory requirements for trade activity.
- Track and help reduce compliance pendency related to bills of entry and export bills.
