About the role

As a Sales Assistant, you will contribute to a lively, customer-focused retail environment where service, sales and store presentation all matter. The role suits someone who enjoys working in a busy, target-driven setting and brings energy, friendliness and a genuine commitment to creating a welcoming shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, attentive service and build positive relationships with customers.
• Handle cash and Eftpos transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Develop and apply strong product knowledge across the full range of the business.
• Maintain excellent store presentation, including merchandising and general visual standards.
• Work toward sales budgets, targets and key performance indicators.
• Support stock control processes and help manage product quality.
• Follow all relevant national laws, workplace health and safety requirements, and security procedures.

This position is based in Northam, Western Australia, Australia and is offered as a full-time, onsite retail role. Smokemart & GiftBox is a division of OTR Group and is part of the wider VIVA Energy Retail Australia network.
