Role overview
This position is for a motivated, coachable Sales Development Representative focused on inbound healthcare sales. You will help a growing team manage incoming interest, screen potential clients, and book meetings for senior sales professionals. Experience in healthcare services, medical products, or health technology is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound phone calls, emails, and website enquiries from prospective healthcare customers.
- Assess leads against the company’s qualification standards and direct them to the right next step.
- Arrange appointments and product demonstrations for Account Executives.
- Keep CRM records current and accurate, including lead activity and follow-up details.
- Follow up promptly with inbound prospects so opportunities do not go cold.
- Understand the company’s healthcare value proposition and explain it clearly to prospects.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to improve lead quality and conversion outcomes.
Required qualifications
- Background in sales, customer support, or appointment setting.
- Previous remote work experience is mandatory, along with confidence using remote collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or comparable platforms; applicants without remote experience will not be considered.
- Exposure to US- or UK-based companies or customer bases.
- Strong spoken communication skills and comfort handling prospect conversations by phone.
- Working knowledge of a CRM system such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or a similar tool.
- A dependable internet connection and a professional remote working environment.
Preferred background
- Experience in healthcare, medical services, health tech, or insurance-related settings.
- Exposure to inbound sales or customer enquiry handling.
- Familiarity with lead qualification and appointment-setting workflows.
Tools and systems
- CRM software such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- VoIP calling and dialer platforms.
- Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
- Slack, Zoom, and task coordination tools.
