Role overview

The company is looking to hire Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developers for its Bangalore/Hybrid setup. These are technical roles for professionals with strong Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud experience who can contribute to storefront development, backend engineering, API design, and DevOps ownership. The positions require candidates who can handle both platform development and release automation.

Role 1: Salesforce Commerce Cloud DevOps & Frontend Engineer

This position focuses on connecting SFCC storefront development with build, release, and infrastructure automation. The selected professional will be responsible for maintaining CI/CD pipelines that move SFCC storefronts into production while also creating accessible and high-performing frontend experiences.

Key expectations

• Build and support storefront features using SFRA, ISML, JavaScript, HTML5, SCSS, and LESS.
• Manage deployment automation and CI/CD workflows for SFCC releases.
• Work with sfcc-ci CLI, Business Manager settings, and cartridge-based deployment methods.
• Use Git, npm/Webpack workflows, and automated testing approaches effectively.
• Improve storefront performance through caching, optimization, and CDN-related practices.
• Collaborate with cloud or infrastructure tools such as AWS or Azure when needed.
• SFCC certifications such as B2C Commerce Developer or B2C Commerce Architect are preferred.

Role 2: Salesforce Commerce Cloud DevOps Backend Engineer

This role combines server-side SFCC development with ownership of deployment, release, sandbox, and monitoring activities. The engineer will work on controllers, jobs, services, integrations, and the operational processes that keep the commerce platform stable.

Key expectations

• Develop backend logic using JavaScript on the server side and/or Java within SFCC.
• Create and maintain services, custom jobs, pipelines, and integrations.
• Handle SFCC deployment activities with sfcc-ci and cartridge-based workflows.
• Support release management, branching strategy, and environment administration.
• Troubleshoot issues using monitoring and logging tools.
• Apply secure integration practices with OAuth 2.0 and PCI-DSS awareness.
• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills are needed across code and deployment pipelines.

Role 3: Salesforce Commerce Cloud Senior API Developer

This senior technical role is centered on designing and implementing APIs for SFCC-based commerce solutions. The developer will lead integrations between the storefront, internal enterprise systems, and third-party platforms.

Key expectations

• Design and build APIs using SFCC OCAPI, SCAPI, and custom REST or SOAP services.
• Work extensively with JavaScript, Node.js, and Java inside the SFCC ecosystem.
• Integrate SFCC with OMS, ERP, PIM, CRM, or similar systems such as Salesforce Order Management, SAP, and NetSuite.
• Use secure authentication methods including OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
• Understand SFCC data structures such as catalogs, price books, customer objects, and custom objects.
• Create API documentation using tools like Swagger/OpenAPI and Postman.
• SFCC certifications are required or strongly preferred for this senior role.

Experience and location

The opening is based in Bengaluru, India, with a Bangalore/Hybrid working arrangement. Candidates should have at least 4 years of experience for the DevOps and backend roles, while the senior API developer role requires 5+ years of overall experience and at least 2 years focused on API development and integration.
