Security Guard (SIRA Certified)

Job Summary

Al Fares International Tents in Dubai is looking for a dependable and alert Security Guard who holds a valid SIRA certificate. The role is focused on protecting the company’s premises, staff, visitors, equipment, and materials while upholding a professional, service-oriented attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep watch over the company’s premises, warehouses, offices, and work locations to deter trespassing and security incidents.
• Manage the movement of employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles entering or leaving the site.
• Check identification, record visitors, and maintain accurate security logs.
• Carry out regular checks of buildings, equipment, and surrounding boundary areas.
• Observe CCTV feeds, alarm systems, and other security devices.
• Act quickly during emergencies, accidents, incidents, and other security-related situations.
• Escalate suspicious behaviour, rule violations, and incidents to the relevant management.
• Provide assistance with crowd management and traffic control during events and day-to-day operations.
• Follow company security procedures and comply with UAE regulations.
• Liaise with police, emergency responders, and other authorities when needed.
• Prepare end-of-day security summaries and incident reports.
• Support safety procedures and evacuation activities when required.

Requirements

• A valid SIRA Security Guard certificate is required.
• Completion of high school or an equivalent qualification.
• Prior experience in security, site protection, or a similar role is preferred.
• Good understanding of security practices and emergency response methods.
• Ability to handle CCTV monitoring and access control systems.
• Physical fitness to stand, walk, and patrol for long periods.
• Strong English communication skills; Arabic will be an added advantage.
• Well-groomed appearance and good interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
