Role Overview

The Senior Estimator will be responsible for managing RFQs, preparing commercial and technical submissions, coordinating with internal teams, and supporting client discussions through to order closure and project handover. The role also involves pipeline monitoring, reporting, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assess RFQs and work with estimation and engineering teams to build cost estimates and proposal documents.
• Draft and submit techno-commercial quotations and proposals.
• Discuss technical and commercial points with clients and help finalize contract terms.
• Track submitted quotations and follow up until purchase orders or contracts are secured.
• Work with internal departments to ensure an efficient handover once a project is awarded.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships to support satisfaction and repeat business.
• Keep well-organized records of quotations, sales actions, contracts, and client communications.
• Compile sales reports, revenue forecasts, pipeline status updates, and management presentation material.
• Review sales performance, monitor revenue progress, and contribute to target achievement.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Between 5 and 8 years of experience in technical sales, tendering, estimation, or engineering services.
• Solid understanding of techno-commercial proposals, contract discussions, and customer relationship management.
• Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Prior GCC exposure and possession of a valid driving license are preferred.
