Service Delivery Driver

Role overview

Johnsons Workwear is looking for a Service Delivery Driver to move company stock between customer locations and the plant. The position plays an important part in meeting transport law requirements while providing customers with dependable, high-quality service.

What you will do

In this role, you will plan and complete daily delivery routes, keep records up to date, and represent the business professionally at every customer contact.

• Load and unload vehicles, then place stock in the correct areas at customer sites.
• Make sure the vehicle carries enough sundry supplies, including repair labels and bags.
• Pick up and deliver goods according to route paperwork, which includes loading and emptying on-site lockers and swapping dust control mats.
• Complete all paperwork and delivery records accurately.
• Develop strong working relationships with customers and act as a main point of contact between them and the company.
• Support the Transport Manager by taking over routes when other drivers are absent.
• Carry out additional tasks as needed to help the wider transport and service delivery team.

Requirements

This job requires a valid CPC and a 7.5-ton licence. The successful applicant should be comfortable handling deliveries, paperwork, customer contact, and route-based work.
