Overview
This opportunity is for an FBI special agent role designed for candidates with an accounting or finance background. The role is positioned as a chance to move from finance into investigative work, building deeper expertise through challenging assignments, specialized training, and exposure to advanced tools and real-world cases. Major Duties
- Lead and support investigations involving possible violations of federal law, cybersecurity matters, and public safety concerns.
- Use sound judgment, adaptability, and initiative to handle a wide range of investigative situations.
- Build and sustain working relationships with law enforcement partners at the federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international levels.
- Maintain the physical condition needed to carry out law-enforcement responsibilities effectively.
Education
Applicants need a bachelor’s degree or higher from a U.S.-accredited college or university. Preferred backgrounds include accounting, business administration, finance, or forensic accounting. Academic credentials must be confirmed with official college transcripts.
