Role Summary

As Store Supervisor, you will support store leadership by coaching the team, helping run day-to-day operations, and contributing to business results. This position backs up the Assistant Store Manager, reinforces merchandising standards, and helps maintain a strong, high-energy store environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review daily sales patterns and use them to make fast, practical business decisions.
• Study merchandise reports and adjust product placement to improve presentation.
• Apply loss prevention practices and track audit readiness, compliance, and outcomes.
• Take ownership of or rotate through areas such as talent, visual merchandising, and operations to broaden business knowledge.
• Share product details clearly with customers across a broad product assortment.
• Escalate any accidents or injuries to store leadership right away.
• Communicate priorities, sales goals, and KPI targets clearly to the sales team.
• Assist store, regional, and local HR teams with onboarding and ongoing training.
• Complete additional duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of retail experience is needed.
• Fluency in the local language is required; basic English is an advantage.
• Must be able to work full-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Should be comfortable using technology such as handheld and mobile devices, or willing to learn.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are expected.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and handle cartons up to 25 lbs./12 kgs during shifts, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Working knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements at federal, state, and local levels is required.
• Advanced selling capability and solid understanding of the retail industry are needed.

Additional Information

This role is intended for a full-time store leadership position located in the Greater St. John's Metropolitan Area.
