About the Company
Wynn Al Marjan Island is an upscale beachfront resort project in the United Arab Emirates, planned to welcome guests in 2027. Set on a scenic island stretching into the Arabian Gulf and located under 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, the development will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 dining and lounge venues, a theatre, a nightclub, and a five-star spa.
About the Role
The resort’s Finance Team is hiring a Supervisor - Payroll to manage and support payroll operations at the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct day-to-day payroll processing and guide the payroll team.
- Manage payroll system activities, including enhancements, maintenance, and updates in partnership with IT.
- Check, process, and authorize payroll changes while handling employee queries related to payroll.
- Make sure payroll entries are posted correctly to the general ledger so month-end closing can happen on time.
- Assist with monthly payroll processing, along with professional tax and social security reporting.
- Maintain adherence to government filing obligations, internal policies, and standards of payroll accuracy and timeliness.
- Uphold professional conduct, follow health and safety and sustainability practices, and carry out any other tasks assigned.
Candidate Profile
The role calls for someone with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar discipline, plus at least 2 years of relevant supervisory experience. The successful applicant should understand UAE payroll rules, tax regulations, and compliance requirements, and should be highly detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is also required.
