About the Role

Aruma is seeking a committed Support Worker to assist children, young people, and people with disabilities through personalised, person-centred support. The role is focused on helping individuals build independence, feel included, and access the support they need in daily life and within the community.

What You Will Do

  • Provide tailored, high-quality support to people with disability on an individual basis.
  • Help with personal care, mobility support, and the development of everyday living skills.
  • Foster trusted relationships while offering guidance, encouragement, and emotional support.
  • Encourage participation in community-based and recreational activities.
  • Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to carry out support plans effectively.
  • Champion customer rights and support greater independence.
  • Contribute to safe, trauma-informed settings for young people with complex needs.

What You’ll Need
