Technician

Overview

This position is with Pamarine Private Limited and is supported by the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) through the JSIT-WST initiative. The SBF/JSIT team provides outreach and referral support only; it is not an employment agency, and the final hiring decision rests entirely with the employer.

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out regular day-to-day inspections as part of site upkeep.
• Work with internal stakeholders and vendors to arrange and follow through on defect rectification activities.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance efforts so equipment can be prepared and serviced before failures occur.
• Perform basic on-site maintenance and minor repair tasks such as building touch-ups, painting, and carpentry work.
• Help keep stock records accurate for electrical, sanitary, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and hand tools items.
• Contribute to workplace safety by taking corrective actions to keep equipment and processes within safe operating limits.
• Maintain and update equipment records, including lists for machines, pumps, and air-conditioning units.
• Take on other assigned duties when required.

Requirements

• A minimum qualification of Higher NITEC in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical.
• Prior exposure to, or working knowledge of, basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, and the use of hand and powered tools.
• Strong communication skills, both spoken and written.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.
