Role overview
We are seeking a Test Manager with strong, hands-on experience in API and web services testing. The role is focused on leading quality assurance for complex enterprise platforms within the travel and hospitality domain, with responsibility for planning, coordinating, and driving testing end to end.
What you will do
- Steer API and web services testing across REST and SOAP-based interfaces.
- Build and maintain test plans for functional, integration, regression, and compatibility coverage.
- Run and oversee test execution through tools such as Postman and SoapUI.
- Check database accuracy and transaction reliability by writing advanced SQL queries.
- Work closely with cross-functional QA teams to manage defect triage and closure.
- Prepare and present test dashboards, status updates, and quality metrics for stakeholders.
- Partner with airline and travel business stakeholders to sharpen acceptance criteria.
What we are looking for
- 9 to 12 years of experience in quality assurance with a strong focus on API and web services validation.
- Practical experience with Postman, including collections, assertions, and parameterized testing.
- Strong working knowledge of SoapUI for both SOAP and REST testing.
- Advanced SQL capability for back-end verification and data validation.
- Experience in travel and hospitality systems such as reservations, booking journeys, and airline operations is an advantage.
- Ability to coordinate or manage hybrid and remote QA teams.
