About the opportunity
This is a permanent full-time role within the Training Services team in Wellington. The position supports Ministry and sector staff with learning and development activities, acting as the first contact for training enquiries and providing guidance on the learning systems used to deliver and manage training.
What you’ll do
You will help staff move through their learning journey by supporting induction, compliance learning, course enrolments, and training prerequisites. The role involves working closely with the Training Services team, answering queries, and helping make learning support clear, timely, and easy to access.
Technology and coordination support
Part of the job is assisting users with the Learning Management System (LMS), Adobe Connect, and other learning-related tools. You will coordinate information, manage competing priorities, and ensure people receive practical support to complete their training needs.

The Training Services team helps Ministry staff and the wider education sector access high-quality learning and development. The team manages training systems, coordinates learning programmes, and offers advice that helps build capability and meet learning requirements.
About you
This role suits someone who enjoys service-oriented work, communicating with people, and helping others succeed. You should be comfortable working in a busy environment, confident with technology, and able to explain information in a straightforward way.
Salary and employment details
Salary range: $60,879 to $72,999 per year, plus KiwiSaver. The successful candidate will be placed on a salary that reflects their skills and experience.
