Vice President, Technology Programs

Role Overview

Equitas Finance is hiring a full-time, remote Vice President of Technology Programs to lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and successful delivery of major technology initiatives across the organization. The position focuses on coordinating multiple cross-functional teams, ensuring technology work stays aligned with business priorities, and keeping delivery on track for scope, budget, schedule, and quality.

What You Will Do

• Lead technology programs from planning through execution and delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to keep work aligned with organizational objectives.
• Partner with senior leaders to shape technology direction, decide priorities, and manage dependencies.
• Set up and guide program governance, tracking progress through metrics, reports, and regular reviews.
• Support teams with proven program and project management practices.
• Identify risks and issues early, and help drive timely resolution.
• Maintain strong communication with stakeholders across the business.
• Handle relationships with vendors and external partners as needed.
• Promote ongoing improvements in technology processes, execution quality, and delivery outcomes.
• Encourage an innovative, accountable, and high-performing team culture.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical ability to review data, assess program performance, and inform decisions.
• Solid knowledge of information technology and IT strategy to connect initiatives with business goals.
• Hands-on project management background, especially with large, complex, multi-stakeholder programs.
• Ability to think strategically and build long-term roadmaps and prioritization models.
• Experience in financial services or fintech is a strong advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in influencing senior leaders.
• Comfort working with remote teams while supporting an inclusive and high-performance environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; an advanced degree or certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or ITIL is a plus.
