About the Role

Tashas Group is hiring enthusiastic, energetic, and service-oriented Waiters and Waitresses for its Sharjah location. This front-of-house position is focused on creating memorable guest experiences through attentive service, useful menu guidance, and warm human connection. The role suits someone who enjoys hospitality and takes pride in making guests feel welcome in every setting, from a quick coffee stop to a family meal or business lunch.

Key Purpose

The main objective of this role is to deliver polished, friendly, and efficient service at all times. You will help shape the guest experience by combining product knowledge, speed, professionalism, and genuine care, while contributing to the brand’s signature atmosphere and standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly manner and set a positive tone from the moment they arrive.
• Walk guests through the menu and make informed suggestions about food and drinks.
• Record food and beverage orders accurately and pass them on clearly to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve orders promptly and ensure each item reaches the correct guest.
• Stay alert to guest needs and provide attentive, personalised support during the visit.
• Present checks and handle payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Respond to guest questions, requests, and complaints with professionalism and care.
• Maintain the service quality expected by the brand throughout every shift.
• Keep tables clean, well-presented, and set according to company standards.
• Clear and reset tables quickly to support smooth table turnover.
• Help keep the dining area tidy, organised, and inviting during service.
• Assist with daily restaurant operations and work closely with the wider team.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and front-of-house colleagues to ensure seamless service.
• Support new team members and contribute to a welcoming onboarding experience.
• Take part in daily briefings and maintain clear communication with the team.
• Demonstrate the brand’s values in every guest interaction.
• Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, products, and service approach.
• Ensure all food and beverages are served with the required quality and presentation.
• Follow grooming, uniform, and personal presentation standards consistently.
• Observe health, safety, and food-handling rules at all times.
• Follow HACCP procedures and company policies without exception.
• Use food, beverages, and cleaning materials safely and responsibly.
• Keep workstations and service areas clean and hygienic throughout the shift.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a waiter, waitress, or server in a quality restaurant, café, or similar hospitality setting.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
• Strong passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Professional, warm, and confident approach with guests.
• Ability to stay calm and organised in a busy, fast-moving environment.
• Careful attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
• Positive mindset and a team-focused attitude.

Eligibility

This role is open to candidates who have relevant waiting or server experience, can communicate fluently in Arabic and English, and are available for a full-time, on-site hospitality position in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
