Role Overview
We are looking for a meticulous Yard & Vessel Planner to support port and terminal activities. In this position, you will help organize vessel and yard operations so that cargo handling remains safe, orderly, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange and manage vessel loading and discharge plans to support safe, smooth, and efficient terminal operations.
- Track yard space usage and improve container stacking arrangements to make the best use of available capacity.
- Develop vessel stowage plans and yard plans according to operational needs.
- Work in coordination with marine, operations, and equipment teams throughout vessel movements and handling activities.
- Follow safety rules, operational procedures, and terminal productivity benchmarks at all times.
- Keep operational logs accurate and prepare planning-related reports.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in port, terminal, or container yard planning work.
- Familiarity with vessel planning, yard planning, and terminal operating systems.
- Availability to join immediately.
Skills Needed
- Strong coordination and communication abilities.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving operational setting.
