Role overview
This full-time, on-site retail position in Nepean, Ontario supports store performance, customer service, team supervision, and day-to-day operational control for the location. Sales and customer experience
- Boost store sales by delivering strong customer service and supporting a positive shopping experience.
- Work toward meeting or surpassing company targets for individual performance metrics.
- Track and review associate sales performance, sharing feedback on strengths and opportunities for improvement while staying aligned with company goals.
- Maintain visual presentation standards, including merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.

Operational control and expense management
- Safeguard company property by following LIDS retail procedures and controls.
- Help build store schedules that ensure adequate coverage while staying within wage control guidelines.
- Follow inventory procedures for receiving, transfers, price changes, and product counts.
- Complete documentation and recordkeeping accurately in line with company policies and applicable state and federal laws.
- Open and close the store when needed, following the Operations P&P Manual.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and operating standards.
Supervision and team support
- Take part in training programs and follow through on sales and task goals with regular check-ins.
- Support hiring and training efforts for store team members on store procedures and operations.
- Encourage associates to follow company rules related to inventory, cash, and asset protection.
- Step in to perform subordinate duties when required.
- Communicate effectively with employees across all levels of the organization.
- Handle additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required knowledge and skills
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to drive sales while limiting loss.
- Clear verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Comfort using a computer and related software tools.
- Ability to lift as much as 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and work with hands overhead.
- Standing for up to 100% of the work shift is required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
