Role summary
This position is for an Account Executive based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, supporting a global B2B fintech business that provides payment, compliance, and financial crime prevention solutions to banks and financial services organisations across international markets. The company is known for specialist expertise in sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, risk management, and regulatory compliance, and works closely with clients to help them reduce regulatory exposure and operate securely.
The role blends account growth with new business generation. The successful candidate will manage existing relationships, uncover expansion opportunities, and also pursue fresh business within target accounts. It suits a commercially minded salesperson who is comfortable owning a quota and working directly with clients.
What you will do
- Grow revenue within an assigned book of existing customers and spot opportunities to expand services through upselling and cross-selling.
- Proactively develop new business through outreach, networking, and relationship-led selling.
- Handle the complete sales process from first contact and prospecting through to contract signing.
- Keep regular contact with clients to understand needs, solve issues, and deepen account penetration.
- Draft, present, and negotiate proposals that align with customer requirements.
- Take ownership of RFI and RFP responses from start to finish.
- Run client meetings, solution walkthroughs, and product demonstrations.
- Work closely with technical and delivery teams during presales and implementation.
- Meet quarterly and annual revenue goals.
- Support customer information requests, including vendor audits and due diligence reviews.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and CRM records.
- Keep current with developments in payments, compliance, and financial services.
- Follow internal security, confidentiality, and compliance standards at all times.
What we are looking for
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, IT, or a closely related subject.
- At least 3 years of experience selling software solutions, ideally into banking, fintech, payments, or compliance markets.
- A history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience managing current accounts while also generating new business.
- Strong knowledge of payments, compliance, AML, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and presentation ability, including speaking confidently to both small and large groups.
- Comfort in technical and solution-led sales conversations.
- CAMS or a comparable compliance certification would be an advantage, though it is not mandatory.
Compensation and growth
The package includes a fixed monthly salary of SAR 30,000 to 35,000, plus double OTE. The role offers exposure to major financial institutions, complex enterprise sales cycles, and long-term progression within a well-established global fintech organisation.
