About the Role

We are hiring a meticulous and well-organized Accountant to support our finance operations. In this role, you will handle record keeping, transaction processing, reporting, and routine accounting tasks while helping ensure that all financial work is accurate and aligned with compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Keep financial books, account details, and transaction records current and well-organized.
Enter daily accounting transactions, invoices, and expense claims.
Reconcile accounts and check financial information for accuracy.
Support the preparation of financial statements and recurring reports.
Track accounts payable and accounts receivable activity.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial review work.
Maintain complete supporting documents for all financial entries and transactions.
Work with internal teams to fulfill accounting and finance needs.
Spot inconsistencies and raise financial concerns when necessary.
Adhere to accounting standards, internal policies, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a similar discipline is required.
0 to 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles is preferred; freshers may also apply.
Working knowledge of accounting fundamentals and financial procedures.
Comfort using Microsoft Excel and accounting applications.
High level of accuracy and strong focus on detail.
Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Capability to handle several priorities and work to deadlines.
Ability to operate independently in a remote working environment.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with UAE accounting practices and VAT requirements.
Experience using tools such as QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, or comparable software.
Understanding of financial reporting and account reconciliation basics.
