About the Role

Madar Building Materials is expanding its national operations and is looking for a skilled Accounting Manager to join their team at the Khobar headquarters. This is a key financial leadership position focused on overseeing daily accounting activities and providing strategic financial guidance for a large supply chain network, including 65 warehouses and direct factory-to-warehouse logistics. The role involves leading a team and utilizing complex enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and guide the accounting team's daily operations, ensuring accuracy in all financial reports and journal entries.
  • Generate detailed monthly management reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, expense analyses, and critical financial metrics.
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting process, monitor performance against the budget, and investigate financial discrepancies.
  • Manage cash flow effectively to ensure sufficient funds for payroll and business expansion.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of major vendor and supplier accounts, specifically focusing on supplier accounts and timely payment follow-ups.
  • Oversee bank transfers, resolve outstanding bank reconciliation issues, and reconcile differences between warehouse and accounting software.
  • Facilitate audits by coordinating with internal and external auditors and addressing their feedback.
  • Develop economic feasibility studies and funding proposals to support executive decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Accumulate a minimum of 8 to 10 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Demonstrate a successful history in high-volume sectors like building materials, logistics, or B2B enterprises.
  • Exhibit fluency in English and advanced computer proficiency, with a capacity for using and enhancing company software.
  • Display strong leadership abilities, including team motivation, problem-solving, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Showcase exceptional skills in planning, financial analysis, and technical report composition.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
