Role summary
This position is for a well-organized, reliable, and service-oriented Administrative Assistant who will help keep day-to-day office work running efficiently. The role supports staff, leaders, and guests while maintaining a professional, helpful atmosphere.
The right person will be comfortable juggling several priorities, staying on top of details, and assisting others in a proactive manner. A strong sense of organization, initiative, and care for the quality of each interaction is important.
Key responsibilities
- Offer administrative help to managers and team members throughout the organization.
- Keep calendars updated, arrange meetings, and manage appointment scheduling.
- Handle incoming calls and email correspondence, then route requests to the correct contact.
- Draft, revise, and arrange documents, reports, and presentations.
- Preserve organized filing systems, records, and office paperwork.
- Support data entry work and keep information current and accurate.
- Help coordinate travel plans, meeting setup, and event-related logistics when needed.
- Monitor office inventory by ordering supplies and equipment and keeping stock available.
- Receive visitors courteously and help maintain a welcoming workplace.
- Assist with special assignments and other office duties as required.
Qualifications
- Completion of high school or an equivalent credential is required; further administrative education or training is advantageous.
- Prior work in administration, office support, or customer-facing roles is preferred.
- Strong ability to stay organized and manage time well.
- Clear written and spoken communication skills.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, along with other office applications.
- Capability to manage confidential information carefully and professionally.
- Good attention to detail and a practical approach to solving problems.
- Ability to work on your own and also contribute effectively within a team.
