About the role
Vulcan Fitness is an expanding Australian fitness and gym equipment brand, and this office-based position is an opportunity to build a career in e-commerce. The role is based in Banyo, Queensland 4014, and offers structured training, direct exposure to the business, and close collaboration with the founders and a small team.
This is a permanent, full-time position with preferred working hours of Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM; 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM is also acceptable. The company is seeking someone who is organised, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming customer support emails each day, keep the inbox clear, and respond to all questions.
- Draft quotations and answer product-related enquiries.
- Resolve complaints by coordinating with factories and manufacturers to organise replacements, spare parts, or other practical solutions.
- Print and arrange shipping labels for the warehouse manager so orders can be picked.
- Prepare purchase orders and assist with Cin7 software, with full training provided.
- Communicate with suppliers and freight partners whenever needed.
- Support the team with general administrative work across the business.
Requirements
- No previous experience is required, as complete training will be provided.
- Strong written communication skills with a polite, professional, and approachable manner.
- Excellent organisation and strong attention to detail.
- A willingness to learn and the confidence to ask questions.
- Basic comfort with administrative software; familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, Shopify, Cin7, or similar tools is helpful but not essential.
- Interest in health, fitness, and an active lifestyle to suit the team culture.
