Job description
Role Overview
Decks and Docks is hiring an Administrative Marketing Coordinator to help run the marketing department’s day-to-day operations. This position keeps requests moving, organizes materials and inventory, and supports the team in staying coordinated and responsive. The work environment is busy and changing quickly, so strong organization and the ability to adjust on the fly are important.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle requests and arrange orders for business cards, apparel, and other marketing supplies.
- Manage the production and purchasing of signage, branded merchandise, and product literature.
- Track stock levels for promotional items, apparel, and marketing collateral.
- Monitor the marketing email inbox and respond to inquiries in a timely way.
- Arrange shipment of marketing materials, event supplies, and branded packages.
- Assist with the planning and logistics for trade shows, customer events, and sponsorship activities.
- Support local and regional campaigns across direct mail, print, radio, and other regional media channels.
- Keep internal marketing references current, including vendor contact lists, extension lists, and employee email signatures.
- Answer calls and help with marketing-related questions when needed.
- Take care of occasional marketing errands such as pickups, deliveries, and event setup.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate brings 1 to 3 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, or a similar position. You should be highly organized, communicate well, and manage time effectively. Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is preferred, along with familiarity with social media platforms and basic content management. Exposure to marketing or project management tools such as Asana or Monday.com is also preferred. Candidates with experience in building materials, manufacturing, or construction will have an added advantage. Success in this role requires the ability to juggle several priorities in a fast-moving, growth-oriented setting.
