Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position in Hisar. The Admission Manager will own the complete student admissions workflow for partner institutions through CTPL’s digital platforms. The role involves responding to enquiries, guiding applicants and families through the admission journey, coordinating documentation, and ensuring follow-ups happen promptly through phone, email, and online systems. The person in this role will work closely with colleges, universities, internal product and operations teams, and other stakeholders to keep the admission process smooth, transparent, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the admission process from first enquiry through final enrollment for partner institutions.
- Respond to student and family questions and support them through each step of the application process.
- Coordinate collection, verification, and tracking of required documents.
- Follow up consistently across phone, email, and digital portals to move applications forward.
- Maintain precise admission records and keep data updated in the system.
- Prepare reports and basic insights on admissions activity and performance.
- Support outreach and engagement efforts that improve application conversion.
- Work with institutional and internal teams to resolve issues and improve the overall admission experience.
- Identify process gaps and suggest practical improvements for efficiency and student satisfaction.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Background in admissions, student counseling, student recruitment, or academic administration, ideally in higher education or EdTech.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to connect well with students, parents, and institutional teams.
- Hands-on comfort with CRM tools, admission systems, spreadsheets, and online communication platforms.
- Strong planning, organization, and time-management skills with the ability to handle several cases and deadlines at once.
- Analytical ability to track data, create simple reports, and use insights to improve outcomes.
- Capability to manage objections, escalations, and sensitive cases with professionalism.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required; a background in education, business, management, or a related area is an added advantage.
- Experience in a college, university, or education-driven organization in a student-facing or admissions role is preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment and collaborating across different functions.
- Must be able to work on-site in Hisar and follow an inclusive, learner-first, non-discriminatory approach in all interactions.
