Job description
Your mission
As Cosuno’s AI Automation Engineer, you will own the effort to increase operational efficiency by designing and scaling intelligent automation across the business. You will work with teams across the company to spot opportunities, shape solutions, and put AI-powered workflows into production. The focus is on using modern existing models and reasoning approaches to solve real business challenges, rather than developing custom foundation models from the ground up.
Working within the product team, you will partner closely with the CEO and CTO to make sure every solution fits the company’s technical foundation and infrastructure. This is a hands-on execution role where impact is judged by how quickly and reliably you can build a modular automation platform.
Key responsibilities
- Work with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Product to uncover automation ideas with strong business value and compare them against the technical effort needed.
- Build AI workflows end to end by prototyping and deploying orchestration systems such as n8n and vector databases, while integrating multiple services through APIs to create a shared memory layer for Cosuno.
- Develop solutions in a reusable, modular way so different departments can benefit from the same automation foundation instead of rebuilding similar tools repeatedly.
- Create AI usage guidelines and safeguards, and help internal AI champions in other teams work directly with the automation tools.
- Set measurable success indicators such as ROI, time saved, and reliability, then monitor and improve automations so they keep delivering value.
Your profile
- You approach internal tools with a product-oriented mindset, making trade-offs based on business impact instead of chasing flawless code or polished interfaces.
- You are comfortable with Python, n8n, and API design, and you have practical experience using RAG and connecting language models to internal data sources.
- You focus on applied AI solutions and prefer reasoning chains and existing tools over building custom models.
- You think in systems, understanding how information moves through an organization and how to build reusable solutions that work across teams.
- You have helped drive change in organizations and can explain technical ideas clearly to people without a technical background.
- You are pragmatic about delivery: you prefer launching a useful automation quickly and have the judgment to push back on requests that are not realistic.
Why Cosuno
- You will work with applied AI in a practical setting, using LLMs, vector databases, and n8n to release high-impact automations that address business needs right away.
- Construction is still largely undigitized, so the efficiency gains from your work can have a major multiplier effect in a very large industry.
- You will have real ownership and direct access to the CEO and CTO, giving you the autonomy to identify bottlenecks and build the infrastructure that helps Cosuno scale.
