AI Engineer (ERP)

Role Overview

An opportunity is available for an AI Engineer to join a telecommunications and defence technology company in Abu Dhabi. This is a permanent, full-time position focused on building production-ready AI solutions and connecting them with Oracle EBS within an on-premise ERP environment.

What You’ll Be Working On

The role involves developing and deploying AI models for real-world use, with a strong emphasis on integrating those models into enterprise systems. You will work at the intersection of Python-based software engineering, modern AI techniques, and ERP connectivity.

Core Focus Areas

• Designing and deploying AI solutions, including large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, and predictive analytics.
• Building and maintaining APIs in Python to support application and system integration.
• Integrating AI capabilities with on-premise ERP platforms, ideally Oracle EBS.
• Contributing as a software engineer with a strong production and integration mindset.

Requirements

• Proven experience in designing and implementing AI models such as LLMs, RAG systems, and predictive analytics solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining APIs using Python.
• Prior exposure to on-premise ERP environments is required, with Oracle EBS preferred.
• Candidates should already be based in the UAE or be willing to relocate there.

Compensation & Benefits

The offered monthly salary is AED 25,000 to AED 28,000, along with comprehensive UAE benefits.
