You will collaborate with Kaggle Grandmasters, ML engineers, and subject matter experts to deliver solutions that move beyond prototypes and demonstrators into real operational workflows and measurable business results.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and release AI applications, machine learning models, and agent-based systems using the H2O AI platform.
- Handle the full ML lifecycle, including data preparation, feature creation, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Create production-ready AI capabilities that combine predictive ML, generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation, and LLM-driven components.
- Build backend services and APIs that connect AI models with data sources and application layers.
- Help deploy AI solutions in client environments for both predictive and GenAI use cases.
- Participate in technical workshops, product demos, and training or enablement sessions.
- Work with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to create reusable modules and reference architectures.
- Explain technical work clearly to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in AI, machine learning, data science, or software engineering.
- Solid grasp of predictive machine learning, including feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and interpretation.
- Hands-on experience deploying ML or AI solutions in production or production-like settings.
- Familiarity with generative AI concepts such as LLMs, SLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, or agentic systems.
- Strong Python skills and sound software engineering practices, including testing, debugging, version control, and CI/CD.
- Experience creating APIs or backend services.
- Basic knowledge of cloud environments and MLOps or LLOps concepts.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Profile
- Experience using H2O products.
- Background in full-stack or application development.
- Prior hackathon, internship, or open-source involvement.
- Understanding of model governance or enterprise AI processes.
