ALF Floor Nurse

Role Overview

The Carriages of Rivergate is expanding its team and is hiring an RN/LPN for assisted living care in Nashville, TN. The position can be full-time or part-time, and it is designed for someone who can work with minimal weekends. The hourly pay is $30 to $32.

The main objective of the role is to deliver thorough, resident-focused nursing care aligned with professional nursing standards. In this position, you will also guide licensed and unlicensed team members as they provide direct care and other support services to residents.

Responsibilities

• Measure and document vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.

• Monitor residents during care so changes, progress, and medication effects can be identified.

• Help residents with essential daily activities, including eating and bathing.

• Give injections and administer prescribed medications as directed.

• Offer emotional reassurance and psychological support when needed.

• Speak with residents’ relatives or friends to share guidance, comfort, and discharge or care instructions.

Qualifications

Candidates should have prior experience working as a licensed nurse and be comfortable handling a range of care duties in coordination with a multidisciplinary team. Experience or familiarity with assisted living processes is important, along with a strong understanding of confidentiality requirements and sound nursing practices. The role also calls for solid knowledge of medical and hospital terminology, experience with Point Click Care, physical stamina, strong communication and people skills, and the ability to remain calm, compassionate, and resilient under pressure.
