Role overview
HOERBIGER is looking for an APAC Regional Engineering Manager to guide and strengthen the engineering organization across the Asia-Pacific region. The role focuses on building engineering capability, improving standardization, and encouraging innovation while keeping regional execution aligned with global direction.
What you’ll do
- Lead the regional engineering team and support capability development across APAC.
- Shape and roll out engineering strategy and standard practices throughout the region.
- Raise technical quality and promote innovation that supports business expansion.
- Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Global Engineering to keep priorities aligned.
- Build talent pipelines through coaching, learning initiatives, and succession planning.
- Provide effective engineering support across OEM, Service, and Safety market segments.
What the role requires
- Substantial leadership experience in engineering or other technical environments.
- Strong knowledge of engineering workflows and technical solution delivery.
- Ability to communicate global standards, policies, and tools clearly and consistently.
- Background in regional or global roles within a matrix organization.
- Excellent stakeholder handling and communication skills.
- Proven ability to grow teams and build long-term capability.
- Willingness to travel within the APAC region.
