API Automation Testing

About the Role

Infosys is seeking experienced professionals for API testing work in Hyderabad. This opportunity is geared toward candidates with 4 to 10 years of relevant experience and hands-on capability in API testing using Postman or similar API testing tools.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will work as part of a consulting team and support multiple stages of project delivery. Your work may include clarifying the problem statement, estimating effort, analyzing issues, shaping solution ideas, and contributing to design and deployment activities.

You will also evaluate possible solution approaches through research, including literature review, publicly available information, and vendor-related inputs, and then build proof-of-concepts where needed.

Part of your responsibility will be to translate business needs into formal requirements, define future-state processes, and prepare detailed functional designs.

In addition, you will help configure the solution on the relevant products, investigate issues, identify root causes, request further clarification when needed, and narrow down suitable resolution options.

You are also expected to contribute to team-level and broader organizational initiatives by delivering high-quality solutions that support client transformation goals.

Mandatory Skills

Applicants should have strong experience in API testing and should be comfortable working with Postman or comparable API testing platforms.

Eligibility

Candidates with a B.Sc. in any specialization, B.C.A. in any specialization, or a B.Tech / B.E. in any specialization are eligible to apply.

Experience

This role requires 4 to 10 years of experience in the relevant domain.
