Role overview
Amazon Web Services is looking for an APJ Field Enablement Lead to help shape and run enablement programs for the SUP organization in Singapore. The role focuses on building practical learning initiatives that strengthen field capabilities, improve customer engagement, and support business growth across the APJ region.
This position blends strategy and execution: you will design enablement plans that build skills across the field, and you will also coordinate and deliver programs directly, often alongside cross-functional partners.
The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of technology sales and marketing, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to turn large volumes of information into clear, usable guidance for a broad sales audience. Familiarity with adult learning principles or adult education is highly valued, along with a genuine drive to help others succeed.
You will partner with the Worldwide Field Enablement team, industry sales teams, and other business stakeholders to review current practices, identify improvement opportunities, and create initiatives that save time and improve sales effectiveness. Typical work may include creating enablement resources for specific sales verticals, supporting go-to-market efforts, leading onboarding, and driving ongoing learning programs that help account teams build pipeline.
Experience with AI technologies and the design or rollout of related enablement programs is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will understand modern sales methodologies and have a track record of encouraging customer-focused approaches that strengthen partnerships and produce measurable business results.
In this role, you will also collaborate with sales leadership, business operations, lead development representatives, project managers, and other field enablement partners to support organizational goals. The work combines coaching, problem-solving, technology interest, and learning design to improve outcomes for both new and experienced sales employees.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver field enablement programs for the APJ SUP organization.
- Design learning and enablement plans that build sales capability and improve field performance.
- Execute programs independently and together with cross-functional partners.
- Translate complex information into practical material for a diverse sales audience.
- Review existing business processes and recommend improvements that increase efficiency and sales effectiveness.
- Create enablement content and resources for specific sales segments and verticals.
- Support go-to-market initiatives, onboarding, and continuous learning efforts.
- Help account teams improve pipeline development through targeted enablement.
- Work with internal stakeholders to align enablement activities with business objectives.
- Contribute to programs involving AI-related enablement where relevant.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of combined experience supporting sales or business development teams, along with project management experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation ability.
- Deep familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience defining, improving, and implementing sales processes, procedures, or policies, or comparable experience.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar tools.
- Preferred: 5+ years in finance, business management, and sales operations.
- Preferred: Experience working in a fast-growing technology company.
- Preferred: Background in sales support, technical sales, or direct sales.
- Preferred: Knowledge of adult learning principles and/or adult education.
- Preferred: Experience with AI technologies and related enablement programs.
