Role Overview

The Applied AI Analyst works where business, analytics, and artificial intelligence meet. The role is focused on solving complex business challenges and supporting better decisions through structured analysis and AI-enabled solutions.

Rather than simply studying problems, this person will build practical solutions: designing, testing, and rolling out AI-powered workflows and tools that improve productivity, decision quality, and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

The position involves breaking down unclear business challenges into actionable analytical structures, then turning those insights into decisions that support product, engineering, operations, and go-to-market teams.

You will also create AI-based workflows, tools, and use cases that improve speed, quality, and scalability. A major part of the work is identifying where automation or augmentation can reduce manual effort and strengthen outcomes.

In addition, the role includes reviewing current processes to spot bottlenecks, redesigning them for better efficiency, and implementing repeatable solutions. You will build models, dashboards, and frameworks that increase visibility into performance, and convert structured and unstructured data into practical insights.

Another important part of the job is creating reusable assets such as templates, playbooks, and tools that can be shared across teams. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Sales, and other functions, helping translate between technical and business stakeholders to support high-priority work.

Application Process

The hiring process is designed to be transparent and efficient. It begins with an application and includes two early questions about work authorization and compensation expectations.

Qualified candidates may then be invited to a short recorded video interview, followed by a one-on-one conversation with the Director of Applied AI. After that comes a short build exercise based on realistic work, which can be completed using any AI-native tools and within a 72-hour window. Candidates also complete a brief online assessment before a final offer is made.
