About the Role
This position is part of Swiggy Assure, a B2B supply solution built for hotels, restaurants, and caterers. It brings together a broad assortment of kitchen supplies such as fresh produce, dairy, frozen items, and imported products, all offered at wholesale pricing. The platform focuses on dependable next-day fulfilment, strong quality control, and hygiene compliance, while giving HoReCa businesses a simple ordering experience through dedicated mobile apps.
Work Arrangement
The role follows an in-office/field model, and team members are expected to work from the office for 5 days each week.
Key Responsibilities
- Create new business partnerships and manage existing client relationships as the main point of contact for Swiggy, with a focus on sustaining and expanding revenue from the city.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant owners, especially major city and national accounts, while guiding them on market-related concerns and practical solutions.
- Plan and execute promotional activities and BTL marketing initiatives together with internal teams.
- Handle sales administration and performance reporting, improve workflows and systems wherever feasible, and support senior leadership in strengthening business relationships and customer service outcomes.
- Lead a sizeable team and take ownership of team coordination and performance.
- Train new hires, especially Sales Managers, and provide ongoing mentoring and support.
Required Profile
- A graduate with 4 to 6 years of background in business development, sales, or account management.
- Strong decision-making ability and the capability to build and own a strategic plan for partnering with the best restaurants.
- Good communication skills, along with a positive attitude and aptitude for sales.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with people from varied backgrounds and able to guide and lead a team.
- Skilled at building and using professional networks across internal and external stakeholders to achieve results through structured planning.
- Able to adapt to change, identify opportunities, and suggest improvements that increase campaign effectiveness and overall business success.
- Creative, proactive, and driven to introduce new ideas and support business growth.
