About the role

Intervideo is a digital content creation specialist focused on developing and producing engaging communication content for companies. The team creates work for both B2B and B2C audiences, including premium films, animations, AI-supported productions, and digital campaigns for international clients across a wide range of industries.

For the Mainz location, the company is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Art Director who will take the lead on the visual and conceptual direction of e-content projects. The role centers on shaping and executing campaigns for major international clients in the beauty and FMCG sectors, with room to leave a distinct creative mark.

What you'll do

  • Guide the visual and creative direction of e-content campaigns for international beauty and FMCG brands in both B2B and B2C contexts.
  • Develop strong concepts and visual strategies from the initial brief through to final delivery.
  • Work on digital campaign formats that sit at the intersection of still imagery and video, exploring new ways to combine media and genres.
  • Use and further develop AI-assisted production methods as an integrated part of the creative workflow.
  • Act as a direct point of contact for clients, translating their briefs and business context into compelling visual ideas.
  • Support the team hands-on during implementation and contribute actively to production tasks.
  • Present concepts and results confidently to demanding clients in both German and English.

What we're looking for

  • At least 3–5 years of experience as an Art Director, ideally gained in an agency or content production environment serving international brands.
  • Strong focus on digital campaigns, especially formats that blend visual and video storytelling.
  • Interest in AI-based production, with either initial practical experience or a strong curiosity to learn and experiment.
  • A practical, can-do mindset with willingness to jump in and support execution, not just concept development.
  • Confidence in client interaction, with the ability to understand needs, ask the right questions, and turn them into clear creative solutions.
  • Analytical and creative thinking, paired with a sharp sense for brands in the beauty and FMCG space.
  • A willingness to test unconventional ideas and explore fresh approaches, even when they feel unfamiliar at first.
  • Fluent communication skills in German and English, both in writing and in conversations with clients.
