About the Role
Join a luxury beauty house dedicated to elevating the customer experience and growing a premium retail business. In this position, you will help deliver the brand’s vision of beauty, joy, and French luxury while supporting the day-to-day success of the counter.
As an Assistant Business Manager in the Retail team, you will take ownership of sales performance across make-up, skincare, and fragrance, while helping the team deliver a highly personalized, high-end service to every client. You will work closely with internal and store partners, including the Business Manager, Beauty Department Manager, counter colleagues, store management, and HR teams.
What You’ll Do
- Set clear performance goals for team members in line with company expectations.
- Drive sales proactively and deliver a premium standard of service to customers.
- Coach and support the team so that sales targets are met or exceeded.
- Encourage cross-selling across product categories to improve average transaction value and average transaction units.
- Train team members on product history, usage, and core selling points.
- Build strong product expertise so you can recommend tailored solutions and handle objections confidently.
- Demonstrate products through flash makeovers and clearly explain their benefits.
- Initiate engagement with customers, both at the counter and through traffic stopping.
- Manage and develop team members by identifying coaching and growth opportunities.
- Oversee stock levels in partnership with the Area Manager to maintain availability.
- Drive business growth through events, appointments, and repeat bookings.
- Ensure administrative and operational duties are completed accurately and on time.
- Support merchandise management in line with corporate guidelines.
- Follow company procedures, policies, and store rules at all times.
- Maintain strong working relationships with store management and collaborate effectively with additional stakeholders.
- Take on other duties assigned by the management team, as business needs evolve.
Profile
The ideal candidate brings around 3 years of experience in luxury beauty and is confident working in a premium retail environment.
