Role Overview

The Assistant Manager / Manager - Academic Delivery will be responsible for delivering professional certificate programs in collaboration with top-ranked universities. The position calls for someone who is highly process-driven, detail-focused, and energized by creating impact. The role works closely with global, cross-functional teams and requires end-to-end ownership of assigned programs, with a strong focus on learner satisfaction, completion, and scalable online delivery.

The person in this role will ensure programs are ready for launch, coordinate with course leaders, engage with stakeholders, and use data to improve the learner journey. What You Will Do

  • Maintain productive working relationships with internal teams and external partners across Outreach, Admissions, Design, University Partnerships, and Services Delivery.
  • Coordinate with university partners by sharing program updates, responding to delivery-related queries, and keeping expectations aligned.
  • Share relevant updates on program health with cross-functional colleagues and partner universities.
  • Own the learner journey end to end, with learner satisfaction and completion as the main priorities.
  • Prepare courses for launch by performing quality checks, drafting participant communications, and organizing live sessions.
  • Manage course leaders by handling interviewing, onboarding, training, and performance management for the programs they deliver.
  • Address escalated learner issues from the support team and resolve delivery challenges quickly.
  • Review learner feedback and program outcomes to suggest improvements in course design and operating processes.
  • Track core performance measures such as completion, satisfaction, course leader ratings, withdrawals, and deferrals.
  • Make timely decisions that keep the learner experience first.
  • Build and refine scalable processes that improve program delivery efficiency.
  • Work proactively across teams to strengthen delivery workflows and overall program execution.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in project management or program management, ideally in the education sector.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Background in delivering online courses or educational programs.
  • Experience recruiting and managing course leaders, teaching assistants, faculty, or similar instructional staff.
  • Ability to work with large datasets, draw insights, and turn them into practical recommendations.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly in English.
  • Comfortable working through change and creating new processes.
  • Able to work independently in a remote environment while building trust with a distributed team.
  • Flexible with working hours to collaborate across global time zones.
