Role purpose
The Assistant Manager - Security role is focused on carrying out day-to-day security activities in line with the site security plan. The position supports risk evaluation, mitigation actions, patrol execution, access control, and protection of company assets to help maintain a safe and secure workplace.
Key responsibilities
- Support daily security activities so they remain aligned with business priorities and site-level security goals.
- Help implement the operating framework and standard procedures for security operations.
- Conduct or assist with patrols and CCTV-based monitoring, while keeping clear records of observations and incidents.
- Oversee access control processes, ensure procedures are followed, and escalate any deviations to security leadership.
- Assist in managing visitor access cards and entry/exit controls to ensure secure movement on site.
- Monitor traffic and cargo movement, including authorization checks for vehicles and goods using GPS and RFID tools where required.
- Respond as part of the support team during emergencies, incidents, and crisis situations by following response plans and handling exceptions appropriately.
- Stay aware of digital and AI-driven developments that can improve operational effectiveness and competitiveness.
Stakeholders
Internal stakeholders include the Officer Security, security staff, and other zonal teams. External stakeholders include law enforcement agencies and security vendors.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Security Management or a closely related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in security operations, with hands-on exposure to access control, patrols, and emergency response.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Gandhidham, Gujarat, India. The role is centered on operational security execution and coordination across internal and external stakeholders.
