Role Overview
The Assistant Placement Manager will support placement operations and help connect students with suitable employment opportunities, especially in the IT domain. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with employers and stakeholders, preparing students for interviews, managing placement records, and contributing to post-placement follow-up activities. The position is important for meeting placement targets and strengthening the organization’s employment outcomes.
What the Role Involves
- Identify major employers for urban placement opportunities for Anudip students.
- Match students with company requirements and handle pre-placement profiling.
- Meet company directors and HR leaders to discuss hiring needs and placement tie-ups.
- Coordinate with branches on placement processes and the status of placed students.
- Help generate revenue for the organization through successful student placements.
- Keep records and documentation updated for both pre-placement and post-placement activities.
- Maintain and update the student database accurately.
- Share job opening details with students after receiving requirements from clients.
- Conduct market research to understand job trends and placement opportunities.
- Work closely with the relevant manager and trainers on a regular basis.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed based on organizational priorities.

This role is intended to support the full student placement lifecycle, from employer outreach and candidate preparation to documentation, coordination, and follow-up after placement. The organization expects the person in this position to build strong working relationships with employers, internal teams, and training staff to improve placement results.
