Job description

Role overview

Enable Ireland is looking for a Psychology Assistant to join its CHO 7 CDNT 2 Ballyboden team. The organisation supports children and adults with disabilities across Ireland and promotes inclusion, fairness, respect, and equal opportunity in the workplace.

Contract details

  • Fixed-term assignment for 12 months.
  • Working pattern: 35 hours per week, equivalent to 1.0 WTE.
  • Location: Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.

About the post

The successful applicant will support the delivery of psychology services for children using intervention services, as appropriate.

Key duties

A full duty list is provided in the job description. The role centres on assisting psychology service delivery within the team and working with children and families in a multidisciplinary setting.

Essential requirements

  • A Level 8 honours degree in Psychology from a recognised and validated university.
  • Prior experience working with children and their families.
  • Experience contributing as part of a team.
  • Access to your own transport and a full driving licence.

Preferred criteria

  • Any relevant postgraduate training connected to child disability services.
  • Understanding of the characteristics of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Pay and leave

The salary scale is €31,424 per annum, pro rata, with salary progression subject to long service increments (LSIs). Annual leave is 30 days pro rata per year, reduced proportionately if service is under 12 months.
