Role Summary

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will oversee the outlet’s daily operations in line with company policies and procedures. This role is accountable for helping the business achieve sales, profitability, and service goals, while ensuring product quality standards are consistently maintained. The position requires continuous improvement of outlet performance, strict adherence to operational standards, cost control without compromising quality or quantity, and the ability to foster a warm, customer-first environment across the team.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the outlet’s day-to-day activities and ensure operations run according to company guidelines.
  • Support the achievement of sales, profitability, and customer service objectives.
  • Maintain appropriate product quality and availability at all times.
  • Drive ongoing improvements in overall outlet performance.
  • Enforce standards across all areas of restaurant operations.
  • Monitor and manage costs while protecting quality and quantity standards.

Requirements

  • Strong background in customer satisfaction and guest service, with a consistent focus on delivering a high-quality experience.
  • Experience in hiring and team coordination, including interviewing, onboarding, and supporting employee performance.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests, staff, and leadership.
  • Working knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu familiarity, basic food safety, and service standards.
  • Previous experience supervising in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Good organizational ability and a practical approach to problem-solving in a busy environment.
  • A diploma or degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a similar field is an advantage.
