Role overview
We are looking for an experienced AWS Data Engineer who can build and support scalable data solutions using PySpark and Databricks. The position is based in Bengaluru and focuses on creating reliable, efficient pipelines that can handle production workloads.
What you will do
- Build and implement new data pipelines in Databricks.
- Keep existing Databricks pipelines running smoothly and support ongoing maintenance.
- Track down and fix daily job failures as well as pipeline performance issues.
- Tune data workflows so they perform well and scale effectively.
- Work independently while also coordinating with cross-functional teams when needed.
Skills and qualifications
- Hands-on experience with PySpark and Databricks, including at least 3 years of practical work.
- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure, with AWS preferred.
- Solid understanding of data pipeline architecture and performance improvement techniques.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage production support responsibilities with minimal supervision.
