Role overview
This role is for an Azure cloud administration / Azure Senior Support Engineer / Azure Infrastructure professional. The position requires 6 to 9 years of experience and is based in Mumbai and Bangalore.
What you will work on
- Provide support across Azure IaaS, compute, networking, storage, and database services.
- Work with cloud security and containerization fundamentals.
- Operate within IT infrastructure services and on-premises environments.
- Design, support, and improve resilient Azure-based cloud setups with an emphasis on scale, reliability, and cost control.
- Configure and tune Azure resources such as Azure VM, Blob Storage, File Storage, Managed Disks, RDS, and serverless solutions.
- Handle advanced networking configurations including Virtual Networks, DNS, Load Balancers, and VWAN to keep cloud and on-prem connectivity secure and efficient.
- Apply cloud security practices through Azure AD policies, encryption approaches, and compliance controls.
- Track and review cloud health and performance using Azure Monitor and related monitoring tools.
- Keep accurate records of cloud designs, processes, and system settings.
- Work with ITIL practices such as Service Management, Event Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, and CMDB.
- Automate infrastructure setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance using automation tools.
- Build and maintain Terraform environments, develop Terraform scripts, and import existing infrastructure into code.
- Use infrastructure-as-code tools including Terraform, Bicep, and ARM with at least 2 years of hands-on experience.
- Support Azure Backup monitoring, restore activities, and runbook execution.
- Work with IAM concepts and observability tools.
Required technical exposure
- Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure services, including Azure VM, Functions, Blob Storage, File Storage, Virtual Network, DNS, and Managed Disk.
- Practical administration experience on both Windows and Linux systems.
- Working knowledge of Azure Monitor.
- Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
- Hands-on use of Terraform.
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with Bicep.
