Role overview
National Bank of Canada is hiring a Banking Advisor for its London, Ontario branch. This position is designed for someone who enjoys helping people, thinking analytically, and delivering a relationship-focused banking experience. In this role, you’ll support branch clients with practical guidance that can make a meaningful difference in both their financial decisions and their day-to-day lives.
The bank also offers room to grow in the role. If you do not already hold a mutual fund representative licence, you may obtain one to broaden your responsibilities and take on mutual fund transactions as part of your progression.
What you will do
- Carefully assess client needs and handle more complex situations with professionalism.
- Provide guidance and recommend suitable solutions for Personal and Small Business clients across transactions, investments, personal lending, customized insurance, and estate planning needs.
- Help maintain a high level of client satisfaction and engagement.
- Connect clients with specialist colleagues when their needs require deeper expertise.
- Follow all compliance requirements and risk management standards in daily work.
Your team and work environment
The branch operates one evening per week, and work schedules may vary depending on team availability. This role reports to the Branch Manager. On a regular basis, you will collaborate with specialists in areas such as investments, mortgage financing, and related services.

Requirements
- A college diploma (DEC) or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in advisory service.
