Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-centric Barista to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for coffee, hospitality, and cultivating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Your role will involve preparing and serving premium beverages and light food items, maintaining a pristine and organized workspace, and delivering exceptional service to ensure a memorable customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Extend warm greetings to customers and provide friendly, individualized service.
• Expertly prepare and serve a diverse range of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty concoctions.
• Process cash, card, and mobile payments accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Ensure the coffee bar, equipment, and dining areas are kept clean and orderly.
• Adhere strictly to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Monitor stock levels and replenish supplies as necessary.
• Foster effective communication with colleagues and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of our menu, products, and current promotions.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a barista or in a café setting is advantageous but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.
• A strong passion for coffee and delivering outstanding customer service.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexible availability, encompassing weekends and public holidays.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in basic mathematics and cash handling.
